Best Languages to Learn in 2021 for Inclusivity Worldwide

People learn new languages for a lot of reasons. Some have professional reasons, and some are just passionate like that. However, learning a new language is never a bad idea. This world is a huge place and it is nice to step out of your bubble to explore it. Knowing more than one language always helps you especially if you have to travel. You must know at least one international language to be on the safe side. You never know when you get the opportunity and get to travel to a country where a different language is spoken. Following are some of the languages that are commonly spoken worldwide.

Chinese Mandarin

Chines has more than 1 billion native speakers. It is the dominating language in Asia and most parts of the world. However, Chinese is not a simple language as it consists of ten Sinitic languages such as Cantonese and Mandarin. Learning Chinese is also beneficial from a professional aspect considering China’s fast-growing economy. Many people think English is the commonly spoken language whereas that is not true. Chinese is widely spoken in almost all major countries. Secondly, China is rapidly improving its economy which means there could be multiple work opportunities there. If you know Chinese there won’t be any other hurdle.

Spanish

If you have plans to move to the United States of America, then learning Spanish would be a good idea. It is the second most spoken language in the States. There are more Spanish speakers in the US than in Spain. You can get enough exposure to the language in the States alone. Knowing Spanish could open up multiple opportunities in the country. Immigrants especially would get a better chance if they know both English and Spanish.

English

English might not be at top of the most commonly spoken languages but it is definitely the second most spoken language in around 55 countries. In America, it definitely is a widely spoken language. Be it professionally or for education, you will need to know the English language to succeed in quite a lot of major regions including Australia. English is also the chosen language for quite a lot of Universities.

French

As an effect of colonization, the French stayed back in quite a lot of countries. It is ranked as the second most learned language across the world. French is the only language that is commonly spoken in five continents of the world. Moreover, french is also given priority in professional situations It means better work opportunities.

German

If you have plans of studying or working in Europe, German is the language to learn. There are a huge number of native speakers of this language and that is why it is so common now in entire Europe. Additionally, it is the official language of Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein. Other than these three countries, quite a lot of the population fluently speaks German in Central and Eastern Europe.

Arabic

It does not look that way but Arabic is quite widely spoken just as much as English. It is the official language in 59 countries. People with plans to move to the Middle East and Africa must definitely learn Arabic. There are several dialects of the language but overall it is quite the same.

Learning more than one language is a passion for some, an opportunity for some, and just a formality for the rest. However, out of the hundreds of languages mentioned above are some of the most beneficial ones. These will be helpful internationally.
