When a person’s routine is out of order, his entire day will feel useless and unproductive no matter how much he have accomplished. Decide what needs to be there in the routine

First off, you need to know yourself what needs to be there in the routine. Understand your priorities, needs, wants and leisure. According to that set daily routine which is practical to follow. For instance, if you want to include exercising in your daily routine you might have to cut on something else. You can lodge your daily activities with timings on your phone’s calender when you set your routine. At the end of each week go through it to check the improvements and lacking.
Set small time frames

Before starting anything set a suitable time frame to complete it. For example you have to fold the laundry and 30 minutes would be good enough for it. Make sure to finish the task within 30 minutes. It will keep you on track and save a lot of time as well. Moreover, setting time frames also helps in avoiding distractions which is a major hindrance in achieving goals. However, you must make sure that the time frames are realistic; not too short and not too long. Otherwise it will be of no use.
