Interesting key points of the Apple iPhone 13 event

The California streaming of the Apple iPhone 13 event just ended and there’s a bunch of new products releasing soon. It includes an iPhone 13 lineup of smartphones, a new iPad, and an iWatch with bigger screens. Here’s a quick recap of the event.

Same design like iPhone 12 with a smaller notch

The new iPhone 13 series has a similar design to that of the iPhone 12 series. However, the minor difference includes a bit smaller notch as well as cameras in a diagonal position. It has the new A15 Bionic chip which makes the dual-camera at the back even better. Apple also claims that iPhone 13 has longer battery life than all the previous iPhones.

Prices of the iPhone 13 Mini starts from $729 and the iPhone 13 starts from $829. It would be more affordable with the carrier services though. The pre-orders start from September 17th and they will be available in the market from September 24th.

The iPhone 13 pro has a high-refresh rate screen

Even though the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max look similar to the 12 series i.e a stainless steel band around the sides with matte finishing on the back. However, the screen is a big upgrade. They support Apple’s ProMotion adaptive refresh rate which goes as high as 120Hz. Both of the sets have a new camera system with an A15 Bionic chip. Apple also announced better battery life from the iPhone 12 series just like the iPhone 13.

The price of the iPhone 13 Pro starts from $999 whereas the iPhone 13 Pro Max starts from $1099. Both of these now come with a 1TB storage option.

Cinematic mode for videos and photograph styles for pictures

Two new key features for the camera are cinematic-style videos. It adds portrait mode-style blur to the background. Secondly, there is a photographic style that provides several options to choose from before clicking a picture for a specific outcome.

iWatch 7 has bigger screens and a new design

The new Apple Watch 7 series and two bigger screen sizes with a little bit changed the design. It comes in 41mm and 45mm. Some of the UI elements are also upgraded to make them more compatible with the bigger screen. For example, you can have a full keyboard at times. The new model, however, is not available right away and will be up for sale later this fall. The price starts from $399.

New workout plans on Fitness Plus

Fitness Plus is Apple’s workout service. New updates were announced in the Apple iPhone 13 event. Now there will be Pilates workouts, winter sports-inspired workouts, and guided meditations available on the service. Moreover, now you can also enjoy a workout session with your friends with the all-new Group Workouts feature. It will be available later in the fall. The service is also expanding to more countries later in the fall.

The new iPad Mini has a bigger screen and upgraded design

The new iPad Mini has a new design that resembles iPad Air 2020. Some new upgrades to iPad Mini include a Touch ID sensor on the power button, 8.3-inch screen, 12MP ultrawide front camera, USB-C port, and 5G connectivity option. It also supports the second-generation Apple Pencil which can connect on the side of the tablet due to magnetic force. The price of the new iPad starts from $499. It will be available for preorder from the coming Tuesday.

The 9th Generation iPad has A13 Bionic Chip

In the Apple iPhone 13 event, they also announced a new 9th generation iPad with an A13 Bionic chip. The front camera is 12MP ultrawide and supports Center Stage. The price of the latest iPad starts from $329. It is already available to order and you will get it by September 24th.

New major software updates will be available on 20th September

The new software updates including iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and watchOS8 will be available to download on 20th September.
