Some of the most interesting predictions regarding iPhone 13

According to the majority of predictions, this year the size will remain the same but experts are expecting the display notch size to get smaller. Some experts think that the phones released this year will be more of an improved version of the iPhone 12 series. There will be gradual advancements in the cameras, displays, and processors announced in the event. It could be true because for the past few years Apple has not been introducing many changes to the new iPhone models, which is kind of sad!

Analysts are also suggesting that according to their understanding at least one of the four launched devices will have LTPO. It’s a technology; low-temperature polycrystalline oxide used in the apple watches. It controls the number of times the screen refreshes to conserve battery. In a previous prediction made by Ming-Chi Kuo, he stated that both the pro models releasing in 2021 will have LTPO displays with 120Hz refresh rates.

One of the most interesting predictions depicts that this year there might be an in-display sensor for the fingerprint but it is highly doubtful. Kuo made this prediction back in the year 2019. About iPhone 13 he also stated that it is highly unlikely that the company would include the fingerprint sensor on the power button.

Good news for video recorders!

There might be a piece of good news for video recorders using their iPhones. According to the latest report by Bloomberg, the optical zoom will be improved for the video recording feature. The ultrawide camera feature available in the Pro models might also improve.

Bloomberg’s report did not talk about charging. However, there have been numerous rumors that iPhone 13 will not have charging ports. The phones will be dependent on MagSafe for charging unlike the traditional lightning port attached to power with a cable. On the contrary, Kuo also mentioned that Apple does not find the MagSafe ecosystem sturdy enough on which the iPhone charging can depend entirely. By this, it seems like the charging ports are not going anywhere anytime soon.

Apple is all set to increase its sales this year. For the initial launch period alone, 90 million units were ordered which is likely to increase by the end of 2021. It is way higher than the 75 million unit orders on average in recent years. One of the reasons for the company expanding the supply is because more people prefer to shift to 5g devices for better connectivity.

Sanctions on Huawei beneficial for Apple?

However, another major reason that is highly possible is Huawei under sanctions. Huawei is the biggest rival of Apple and now that its launch is delayed, Apple is cashing in the opportunity. Moreover, it is highly unlikely that worldwide chip shortage will hinder iPhones’ production because Apple is the highest paying customer of TSMC.

Just two more months and we will find out whether all the rumors surfacing are true or not. Whatever happens, Apple users never step back from making the new launches a hit!
