Sony is one of the video games companies which recently put up a massive virtual PlayStation showcase 2021 for the fans. It is safe to say that it was not a disappointment and rather, the fans are pleased! The showcase was set up to launch some of the best games that will be available for PS5. Even though there were some absences as per the expectations, it is still a long list of interesting games. Apart from that, Sony is not yet opening up about the next generation of PlayStation VR so we will have to wait for that bit of update.
As far the games are concerned, some big names include

NEXT-GENERATION REMAKE OF KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC
The showcase was opened with the confirmation of a rumor. Knights of the Old Republic is Star Wars role-playing game that is now getting a next-generation remake. However, no more details were revealed.
SPIDER-MAN 2 AND A NEW WOLVERINE GAME FROM INSOMNIAC
The Insomniac study, developer of Spiderman had some exciting and surprising news. They are working on the sequel of Spiderman featuring Venom which will release in 2023. Moreover, a new Wolverine game is also under development.
TRAILER OF GOD OF WAR: RAGNAROK
It’s been too long but now finally there is a trailer for God of War: Ragnarok. You can have an idea of what Kratos and Atreus are planning to do.
RELEASE DATE OF TINY TINA’S WONDERLAND
Tiny Tina’s Wonderland which is a fancy spin of Borderlands will be released on March 25th. A new trailer was also released.
NEW TRAILER OF FORSPOKEN
One of the most interesting action games, Forspoken has a new trailer. The trailer shows plenty of new spells, as well as fast-paced combat and movement.
REVEAL OF ALAN WAKE REMASTER
It was already in the news that Remedy is remastering Alan Wake but now the developer has released a trailer as well. The new version looks kinda spooky.
GRAND THEFT AUTO V RELEASING IN MARCH 2022
The original version of Grand Theft Auto was first launched in 2013. However now, a next-gen version of the GTA V is launching for PS5 on March 22.
RADIOHEAD AND EPIC GAMES ARE UP TO SOMETHING
Something’s cooking with Radiohead and Epic, the developer of the Fortnite game. They have partnered for a project explained as “an upside-down digital/analog universe created from Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood’s original artwork and audio design by Nigel Godrich. It commemorates the coming of age of Radiohead’s records, Kid A and Amnesiac.”
SOME REMASTERS OF RECENT UNCHARTED GAMES
The recent games of Uncharted: A Thief’s End and Lost Legacy are under a remake. However, the exciting part is that they will be available for the PC as well. So even without a PS5, you can enjoy the new version.
GRAN TURISMO 7 TO RELEASE NEXT MARCH
Sony PlayStation showcase 2021 would have been incomplete without the premier racing series. The trailer of Gran Turismo is released and the game will be released on 4th March 2022.
